My name is Maura, and I am the creative director and designer behind MKB Design. I'm passionate about bringing my clients' design concepts to life & continuing to hone my creative craft.
After graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Marketing & Italian Art History, I entered what I thought was my dream career at a Fortune 500 retail company. Fast forward five years, and I was hustling on the side working freelance creative projects and studying design at night at Minneapolis College of Art & Design. My passion for art and design inspired me to take the leap, quit my desk job, and pursue my dream of inspiring and helping others through creativity & design - and thus, MKB Design was born.
When I'm not painting or creating, you can find me trying out a new restaurant or recipe with my husband, Chris, on a walk around town with our fur baby, Ace, or snuggled up on the couch with a bowl of popcorn.
